A student's first ten minutes

Vantura shows you 360 degree video lessons your own instructors filmed. You look around a real space as if you were standing in it.

If the headset is already signed in

Most lab carts are set up this way. Put on the headset, open Vantura, pick a lesson, and watch. Skip to Watching a lesson below.

If you see a six character code

That means the headset needs to be connected to your account once.

Then enter your class join code, the six character code your instructor gave you. That enrolls you and your class library appears.

You do this once. The headset stays signed in after that.

Watching a lesson

Point at a lesson with your hand and pinch to select it. You do not need controllers.

Each lesson shows one of three labels:

While a lesson is playing you can:

Look around freely. Turn your head, turn your body. There is usually something behind you.

Comfort

You watch from one spot. Nothing moves you around, which is the main thing that makes people feel unwell in a headset. Sit or stand, whichever you prefer.

If you do start to feel off, take the headset off and rest. That is a normal thing to do and not a sign anything is wrong. The lesson pauses on its own shortly after you set it down, and your progress is recorded up to that point.

Things that are working correctly even though they look odd

If something is wrong

Do not use Sign out unless someone asks you to. It disconnects the headset and it has to be paired again.
