Terms of service
Effective July 28, 2026. These terms cover the Vantura web portal and the Vantura app for Meta Quest, both operated by ES Designs. Using either means you accept them.
What the service is
Vantura hosts 360° video that instructors upload, and delivers it to headsets they or their students have paired. The headset app is free. Instructor accounts that upload and manage content require a subscription, which is billed through the portal rather than through the Meta Horizon Store.
Your content stays yours
Videos you upload remain your property, or your institution's. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your files, process them for playback, and deliver them to the headsets in the classes you choose. We do not use your footage for anything else, we do not use it to train models, and we do not show it to anyone you have not enrolled.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. That includes consent from anyone recognisable in clinical, patient, or student-facing footage, and compliance with your institution's policies and any applicable privacy law.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or recorded without the consent required where it was filmed.
- Do not share account credentials outside your institution, or use one instructor subscription to serve unrelated programs.
- Do not attempt to bypass class access controls, extract other customers' content, or interfere with the service.
Pairing a cart of headsets to a single staff account is expected and allowed. Storage and instructor seats are what the subscription tiers are based on; headset counts are guidance, not an enforced limit.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance for the term you select. Annual terms do not renew automatically unless we have agreed that in writing with your institution. If a subscription lapses, uploaded content remains stored and downloadable for 30 days so a term can be finished or an export arranged, after which it may be removed.
Availability
The service is provided as is, without warranty. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Because videos are downloaded to each headset and played locally, classroom playback continues even when the portal or the network is unavailable, which is the point of the design, but we do not guarantee any particular outcome for your class.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and request deletion at any time; see the privacy policy for how. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced to account holders by email before they take effect, and the effective date above will change.
