Privacy policy
Effective July 28, 2026. Vantura is operated by ES Designs. This policy covers the Vantura web portal and the Vantura app for Meta Quest headsets.
Vantura is a tool schools use to put their own 360° video lessons on their own headsets. We collect the minimum needed to do that. We do not sell personal information, we do not serve advertising, and we do not use third-party tracking or analytics services.
What we collect

| Headset records | Device model, free storage, and which videos are downloaded on each headset. This drives the readiness view that lets staff confirm a cart is prepared before class. |
| Uploaded videos and their details | The lesson content itself, plus title, duration, size, resolution and codec, so the app can list and play it. |
What we do not collect
- No camera, microphone, or passthrough imagery. Nothing the headset sees or hears is transmitted or stored by Vantura.
- No hand or eye tracking data. Hand tracking drives the in-app menu and is processed on the headset by Horizon OS; Vantura never receives it.
- No location data, contacts, or advertising identifiers.
- No Meta account information. The app does not use the Meta Platform SDK and cannot see your Meta profile, friends, or purchases.
Shared headsets
Many programs pair a whole cart of headsets to one shared staff account. When they do, viewing activity is recorded against that shared account rather than against an individual student, so it cannot identify who was wearing a given headset. Per-student records exist only when each student pairs with their own account.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Supabase — accounts, sign-in, database, and video thumbnails.
- Cloudflare — video file storage (R2), and Turnstile, which checks that a sign-in is not automated.
- Vercel — hosting for the web portal.
These providers process data only to run the service. We do not share personal information with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Account, class, video and viewing records are kept while the account is active. Videos removed by an instructor are deleted from storage and from every headset that had downloaded them at its next sync. Closing an account removes its data as described below.
How to see or delete your data
Email bwinchell@esdesigns.org from the address on the account and say what you want: a copy of your data, correction of something inaccurate, or deletion. We will confirm the request and complete it within 30 days.
Deletion removes the account, its email address, its class enrollments, and its viewing history. For instructor accounts it also removes uploaded videos, which will disappear from students' headsets at their next sync. Deletion cannot be undone.
If a school administers the account, we may need to notify the school before deleting content their program depends on.
Students and minors
Vantura is sold to schools and colleges for instructional use. Accounts are created by an institution or by a person joining a class their instructor gave them a code for. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. A school or parent who believes we have should contact us at the address above and we will delete it.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Videos are stored privately and served through short-lived links that are only issued to accounts enrolled in the relevant class. Access to class content is enforced on the server, not in the app.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and notify account holders by email.
